Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Quotation Maker App Offline ("the app") does with information. The app is provided by Astra Edtech Pvt Ltd. Contact us through astraedtech.com.np.
The short version
There is no account, and we run no servers that receive your quotations. What you type stays on your phone unless you choose to share it. The app shows ads from Google, and Google may collect device data to show them when you are online.
Information stored on your phone
The following is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. We do not receive it:
- Your company details: name, address, phone number, email, logo, currency and default tax rate.
- Quotations: your clients' names, addresses, phone numbers and emails, plus items, prices, notes and quotation numbers.
- App settings, such as when a period without video ads ends.
You are responsible for having a proper reason to record your clients' details, and for keeping them safe.
Photos
When you add a logo, Android's photo picker lets you choose a single image. The app keeps a resized copy of that image and does not otherwise access your photos. The app does not use your camera or microphone.
When information leaves your phone
It only leaves your phone in these cases:
- PDFs you share or save. When you tap Share or Download, the PDF goes to the app or folder you choose. That app's own privacy policy then applies.
- Backups you make. A backup file contains your company details, logos and quotations. It is not password protected. Only send it to accounts and people you trust.
- Ads. See below.
- Connection checks. The app checks whether it can reach the internet, so it knows whether to request ads. This check contacts a Google server, and it does not include your quotations.
Ads and Google AdMob
When you are online, the app shows banner, full-screen video and optional rewarded video ads using Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and use data such as your advertising ID, IP address, device information and how you interact with ads. They use it to show and measure ads, to prevent fraud and, where allowed, to personalise ads.
Your quotations and company details are not given to the ad service.

Your ad choices
If you are in a region where consent is required, such as the EEA or UK, the app asks for your choice before showing ads. You can change it under Settings, Ad privacy choices. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Keeping and deleting information
Information stays on your phone until you delete it. You can delete individual quotations in the app, or remove everything by uninstalling the app or clearing its data. Android may also copy app data through its own device backup, depending on your settings. Backup files you made and PDFs you shared are not removed by this, so delete those separately. Because we do not hold your quotations, we cannot recover or delete them for you.
Security
Your data is kept in the app's private storage on your phone. No method is perfectly secure, so use a screen lock on your device and take care with backup files.
Children
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to how it is used. Most information is under your direct control in the app. For data collected by Google for ads, use Google's controls above. For any other question, contact us through astraedtech.com.np.
